Multitasking
I am not a big fan of multitasking because you really can’t concentrate on one thing. When I’ve tried to do homework from another class in a particular class, I don’t learn anything that was taught that day and I barely finish the work that I was trying to complete. Many people are able to do both, but somehow my brain can’t acquire that much information at the same time. I agreed with the video when it mentioned that breaks should be taken when the brain feels exhausted. It reminds me of our English class when we engage ourselves in activity and get tired after a while. The ten-minute break we receive make the remainder of the class feel smooth and not jam packed.

I agree with the negative effects that are mentioned in the video because I’ve experience them and it just causes stress. My view on multitasking is that it shouldn’t be done because it can cause confusion and headaches. One thing that I questioned in the video was, why can’t people get on their phones when taking their small “brain break”? Can’t watching a funny video relax a person and relax their brain from stressful work? As convenient as multitasking may sound, it is better to steer away from it and take your time with everything.
